The European standard DIN EN 16350 sets out the test requirements for electrostatic dissipative protective gloves. It ensures that gloves dissipate electrical charges in a controlled manner to prevent sparking and associated ignition in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX zones) or when working with sensitive electronic components (ESD).
Vertical resistance(Rv):
The vertical resistance must be less than 100 megaohms (less than 1.0 × 10⁸ Ω) in all tests.
The test conditions are as follow:
- Air temperature 23°C +/-1°C
- Humidity 25% +/-5%
- Test area: 100cm2
- Test voltage: 100V
